Cambridge Funeral Celebrant
Losing a loved one is one of the most challenging experiences we face, and planning a funeral is a deeply personal journey that deserves to be approached with compassion and care.
As an independent celebrant, my goal is to create a ceremony that not only honours the unique life of the individual but also reflects the wishes and needs of their family and friends.
Each funeral or memorial service is thoughtfully crafted to provide a space where memories can be shared, and the essence of the person who has passed is celebrated. It’s an opportunity for friends and family to come together, to support one another, and to find comfort in the memories that bring joy amidst the sorrow.
Every farewell should be special, so I collaborate closely with families to ensure that every detail resonates with their vision. Whether you prefer a solemn reflection or a joyful celebration of a life well-lived, I am here to help you craft a unique ceremony that feels just right.

I am happy incorporating religious elements such as prayers, hymns, or particular rituals to the service. I offer a wide selection of poems and readings—both sacred and secular—to enrich the ceremony in a way that aligns with your beliefs and preferences. Equally, I am happy to offer a non-religious ceremony using any theme or direction that is important to the life we are honouring.
Choosing the right celebrant is an important step, it’s about finding someone who resonates with you, someone who listens and embraces your ideas. I strive to be that person—bringing warmth, professionalism, and respect as we work together to create a fitting farewell. No matter the location, whether it be a crematorium, natural burial ground, or even a unique celebration of life venue.
As an independent celebrant, I create ceremonies that honour and celebrate each person’s life. A good celebrant will listen to what you want, provide plenty of ideas, write you a ceremony as per your wishes, and work with you until it is perfect. I will work with you to conduct your ceremony with respect, professionalism and warmth.
